Sterling Abernathy, originally from Broken Arrow, OK, now lives and performs professionally in Nashville, TN. He got an early start in music and by age 13 he was touring full time as part of the young group of players called the Rockin’ Acoustic Circus. Since then he’s gone on to perform with other successful groups, including the Belfry Fellows, Uncle Grier, Molly Tuttle, David Grier, Kenny and Amanda Smith Band and many more. He was selected two years in a row 2013 and ’14 to be one of 16 young participants in The Savannah Acoustic Music Seminar led by mandolin virtuoso, Mike Marshall. Now, most weekends, you can hear Sterling play on the Grand Ole Opry with Clawhammer Banjo player and comedian, Mike Snyder
